Why so many questions?

It is more than a pet shop asks. Adoption is free, so the questions are how a rescuer finds out how serious you are, and what the cat's days will look like in your home. Most rescuers have paid for this kitten's care themselves. Each one decides in their own way, and this form is where most of them start. Your details stay with the rescuer, used only for adoption records.

How it works

About the address and ID

These feel like the "too much" ones, so here's the honest reason: they're the rescuer's only background check. No fees means no paper trail — the address and ID are how rescuers keep real adoption records, and how a cat stays findable if something goes wrong. They go to your rescuer, nowhere else.
